ACTIVITY RISK
Skiers and the Snowboarders are aware of and understand the risks and danger inherent to the sport practice they are performing and so they are responsible for those injuries caused on other people and damages caused to the Ski Resort premises. |
PASSES
Passes are compulsory for getting into the Resort and for using trails and lifts. |
RESPECT
Trail users should respect third parties as well as their property. Should a person endanger another staying at the ski center, either off-piste or within the trails, said person will be expelled from the Center upon the sole decision of the Administration. |
ECOLOGICAL SKI
The mountain is a wonderful scenery where nature can be enjoyed. It the responsibility of all of us to keep it white and clean. Let’s not drop rubbish. |

PEDESTRIANS ON THE TRAILS
Pedestrian, sledges and other non-authorized sliding media are strictly forbidden on the trails. Only skiers holding due passes and proper ski or snowboard equipment are allowed to ski on the trails or use lifts. |
OFF-PISTE SKI
CERROBAYO does not support the performance of any other activity except those expressly provided for in this or in any other rule whatsoever. Therefore, CERROBAYO is not responsible for those who decide to ski out of the duly signposted trails; make walking tours, camping or climbing; slide out or within the trails using unauthorized media, not even if they are accompanied by a professional or by people related to the Ski Resort. |

VELOCITY CONTROL
Skiers should keep velocity under control according to their own capacity and level of skiing. As a consequence, They should be aware of the terrain and weather conditions and of the number of skiers on the trail.
Races and jump practices or any other disciplines which are not part of any event organized or authorized by CERROBAYO remain under the sole responsibility of those performing them; and CERROBAYO has the exclusive right to forbid them. It is strictly forbidden to set up fences, barriers, mounds to raise the ground or any other element which may change the natural feature of the trails except those set up pursuant to said events. |
PREFERENCES ON THE TRAIL
Skiers descending behind another one have the obligation to avoid the skier below, having the latter always preference over the previous one. Skiers coming from a connection or lateral trail shall give way to those on the trail.
At each stop, skiers shall give way to those coming down.
It is forbidden to cross or to interfere with ski classes, get into training and/or competence trails. |
STOPPING ON THE TRAILS
Skiers should avoid stopping at narrow paths and/or in places with no visibility. In case a skier should necessarily have to stop, he/she will have to do it at the side of the trail.
In case of fall, skiers shall get away from the traffic of the trail as soon as possible. |
EQUIPMENT
Skiers must have their equipment in perfect condition and fit for their weight, size and ski level. The use of ski brakes is compulsory, as well as security straps on snowboards. |
ASISTANCE ON THE TRAIL
Skiers who may witness an accident should inform, if possible, the Ski Resort Security Service of the trails and identify themselves. |
INFORMATION, BLINKERS AND SIGNPOSTS
Skiers must be informed of daily weather conditions, snow levels, trail state and the requirements for their use. The level of difficulty of the trails is as follows:
Green Trail: Beginners
Blue Trail: Intermediate
Red Trail: Advanced
Black Trail: Expert
Signposts at certain trails for skiing or snowboard practices must therefore be respected accordingly. |

RULES FOR THE USE OF LIFTS
. Skiers must visibly exhibit their season’s passes and show them upon request of the Sky Resort staff.
. Skiers must always respect those skiing in front of them and must orderly follow the queues for using the lifts up. They should get prepared while waiting at the queue. Skiers must hold both ski poles in one hand, and snowboarders must fasten bindings to one foot using the security strip all the time.
. Skiers and snowboarders should always be aware of and comply with the instructions given by the lift operating or Resort staff.
. On chairlifts, the safety bars must always be pulled down, so as to prevent possible accidents.
. On Platter/Poma lifts, it is strictly forbidden to detach the platter on the way. In case of fall, skies and accessories must be rapidly removed so as to allow other skiers to easily and securely continue their way up.
. In case a chairlift should stop on its way, it is strictly forbidden to get off. Instructions from the Resort Security Center must be heard, who will inform about the steps to be followed in case of evacuation.
. Keep in mind there is always ice on the chairlifts and, as a consequence, there is a risk of “sliding”, so be extremely careful. |
